There is an attendance certificate, however you will not gain as much as if you do the homework.

The homework, while not insignificant (3 hours or so a week) is fairly straight forward, basically being reading and comprehension, plus a changce for you to process what God is saying to you. This last part is the most important.

Yes, there is an assignment. Don't panic, it isn't hard, but will require some work and planning. Get in early and don't leave it till the last minute.

And yes, the course coordinators do check your work - to encourage you and to see if you are getting the concepts of the course rather than to mark you. The only way that I've seen anyone fail is to not finish the course!
